Pension disbursement through smart cards in Haryana

 Trying to curb corruption and make policy implementation transparent, Haryana Social Justice and Empowerment Department announced today that pension will be disbursed through electronic banking using smart card scheme of the Centre.

While disclosing this here today, Haryana Social Justice and Empowerment Minister Geeta Bhukkal said that under the new pension distribution system, the beneficiaries of pensions would have to open bank accounts through District Social Welfare Officers in the banks specified by the department.

Business Correspondents appointed by the concerned bank would visit each village to open bank account of the beneficiaries. The pension for the month of April 2011 would be paid to the beneficiaries through banks, she added.

    Will the honourable Edu. Minister,Haryana take the trouble for the timely release of pension to the retired teachers and the lecturers of the Govt aided schools and colleges in Haryana?Pension is released late for months every month,inspite of the orders and directions to the managing bodies to release the pension latest by the tenth of every month.

    Though the announcement was made on 28-03-11 by the Edu. Minister regarding the timely payment of pension to all in Haryana through ECS but the teachers/lecturers of govt aided institutions are being paid pension manually and late for months together.Will the Edu.Minister be kind enough to get them timely pension?

    PENSIONERS OF AIDED COLLEGES IN HARYANA ARE AWAITING PENSION FOR THE MONTH OF MAY 2012,WHERE AS ,AS PER ORDERS OF THE DIRECTOR Hr.EDU,TO THE MANAGING COMMITTEE OF THE COLLEGES, TIMELY PENSION SHOULD BE RELEASED .BUT THEIR VERSION IS THAT THE DHE's office does not release the pension amount at the proper time.Who is at fault ? pl. enquir.

    WILL ANY ONE OF THE AUTHORITIES IN THE STATE OF HARYANA CLARIFY THE REASON OF DELAYED PAYMENT OF PENSION TO THE EMPLOYEES OF GOVT.-AIDED INSTITUTIONS AND WHEN WILL THE TIMELY PAYMENT THROUGH THE SMART CARDS BEGIN AS DECLARED ON 28-03-2011 BY THE HON'ABLE MINISTER FOR SOCIAL JUSTICE AND EMPOWERMENT DEPARTMENT
