A proposal was received from Medical Council of India (MC I) for raising retirement age of medical teachers from 65 years to 70 years.The Ministry has approved the proposal on 28th October 2010.
This information was given by Minister of State for Health and Family Welfare Shri Dinesh Trivedi in written reply to a question raised in Rajya Sabha today.
