Why and what is the reason for this rejoicing?
Is there not an increase of 3% of their salary as increment yearly?
Yes .It is increasing but not as such as DA.This is evidently truth.
If we observe keenly the 3% increment of the salary that we get yearly inspite of the increase in the cost of living is the best.
Why is it so?
The basic format for the calculation of Dearness Allowance is the AICPIN published by LABOUR BUREAU.
The data published in the eve of every month is taken in to account for the calculation of DA.
If it is so on what basis is the data published?
Taking in to account the rates of essential commodities and comparing it to their previous month's rates,points are given.
If the rates have increased there will be a increase in the points.Whereas in the rates have decreased there will be a decrease in the points.
Here we have to slightly think about this.We receive DA on the basis of the increase in the points which are consequently due to the increase of the rates.We receive DA as compensation for the extra money we have put in to buy the increased rates of commodities or for the increase in the cost of living.
There is no necessity for this compensation if there is no inflation in the cost of living.But increment would increase our salary yearly by 3%.
Will the DA compensate with the speed with which the rates of commodities have risen?
We can surely say NO to this.
This is the same condition for the DA that is to be announced in the MONTH OF JANUARY 2012 and for each and every forthcoming DA's(DEARNESS ALLOWANCES).
