Sub: Entitlement of Privilege Passes
The issue of entitlement of Privilege Passes was discussed yesterday with the Member
Staff Railway Board and today with Adviser(IR) Railway Board. Both have given positive
indication that the issue will be processed shortly.
It has also been given to understand that all the employees working in GP Rs.4200 will
be covered for 2 AC Pass. Though we are striving hard for 3 AC Pass to GP Rs.2800 but the
indication is that the staff working in GP Rs.2800 will be considered for 3 AC Pass with certain
conditions.
We know that there is great anxiety amongst the Railwaymen on this issue, we are also
pursuing the matter with the Railway Board vigorously.
